Christopher Christ has played guitar for more than fifty years, since he was ten.
In his own words, Christopher says, "I guess I've played almost every kind of music, in all types of venues," he said recently, "from jazz and R&B places to country clubs and society-type settings as well as night clubs, hotels and restaurants all over the East and Mid-west and Internationally. It sure was fun to play with jazz legends such as Lou Donaldson, Johnny Lytle, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Sonny Stitt, Don Patterson, etc."
Originally from Philadelphia, Chris has lived in Ft. Lauderdale most of his life. Recently, he's been playing his trio in the Asheville, N.C. area at places like the Grove Park Inn and the Biltmore House as well as country clubs and restaurants in that area.
Christopher and his trio have been in demand in the Charleston area since he relocated to Charleston in 1999. Christopher has tremendous musicians playing with him and has a song list that with styles including: jazz, swing, Brazilian music, and the sounds of Cole Porter, Ellington and the like. The trio's sound is smooth and swinging. They are available for receptions, corporate events, and other functions.
